About Little Buffalo Moulding and Stair Parts

Founded in 1985 by Dennis and Janet Haungs with a desire to produce fine quality hardwoods was the conception of Slivers Mill.

With the purchase of a portable bandsaw mill they began cutting logs into lumber. A kiln was added to dry lumber so it could be sold to local cabinet-makers and craftsmen. Through this process Dennis and Janet learned first hand the importance of lumber procurement.

As their business grew so did their appreciation of fine wood products. Soon, with a little help from some new equipment they began manufacturing moulding, rosettes and plinth blocks. They added other products such as stair parts, plywood and ornamental mouldings to serve customer requests.

Building on their success, they decided to expand into the web, offering expertise and service along with high quality products. Thus, the conception of Little Buffalo Moulding and Stairs Parts was created.

Little Buffalo offers a complete line of stair part components with a rich complement of mouldings to decorate home or office interiors. With an eye for the future, Dennis and Janet presently provide the very best of interior millwork and will continue to enhance and expand their product line.
