The 4842-P 60 inch newel measurements are as follows:
Ball Top = 4-5/8 inch
Top Block = 10 inch
Turned section = 19-1/2 inch
Bottom Block = 25-7/8 inch

These newels can also be made with an acorn top instead of the ball top.
